We have some excellent images from the concert that people have sent to us, as well as some amazing videos of one or two performances. In terms of new functions, it is now possible to register for the Birmingham Musicals concert and the Liverpool Summer of Love concert online – hopefully this will save lots of paper and lots of stamps. The other upcoming concerts will be added nearer to the time, as well as the Manchester Musicals concert as soon as we have a confirmed date.
We will also add some space for you to download useful resources, such as newsletters, rehearsal schedules and so on.
We are looking forward to seeing the Birmingham singers on Saturday, and the Manchester singers the following Sunday. Do remember to email and let us know if you wish to audition for a solo for either of these concerts.
Hoping to see lots of you soon…
Happy new year to you all, and we hope that the Christmas break was everything that you wished for. Now that the festivities are over it’s time to think about moving forward through the year. As well as this we are busy preparing for the launches in Manchester and Birmingham. These will go ahead with the Birmingham launch taking place at St Columba’s URC in Moseley on Wednesday 18th January, and in Warwick at St Nicholas’ Church on Thursday 19th January, leading to a performance at the Elgar Concert Hall on Saturday 8th April. There will also be rehearsals in Surrey preparing for this concert with the first rehearsal in Esher on Wednesday 18th January.
The Manchester concert will be launching on Wednesday 25th January at Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church, with rehearsals in Bolton and Cheadle Hulme, preparing for a concert at the Royal Northern College of Music concert hall on Wednesday 12th April. This is a new, exciting and top quality venue for us to sing in and we would be delighted to see you there.
If you are planning to sign up for either of these concerts and haven’t yet done so, we would encourage you to do so in advance of the launch date so that music can be prepared for you in advance. If you are not able to do this you can of course sign at the launch or at the first couple or rehearsals.
Finally, please note that our telephone number has changed – please do not use the 01484 number, which is liable to be answered by the primary school age secretaries, please use 07445 042777, or you can send us a text!
